Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 4 large apples, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup apricot preserves
- 1 tablespoon water
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375F 190C
Roll out the puff pastry sheet and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Arrange the thinly sliced apples in overlapping rows on top of the puff pastry, leaving a border around the edges
In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon
Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the apples
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the apples are tender
In another small saucepan, heat the apricot preserves and water over low heat until melted and smooth
Brush this glaze over the warm tart
Let the tart cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving
